Test of the freedom of speech in NZ

Paul Henry has been suspended for his remarks on an Indian-look Governor General on TV one’s breakfast show. Why? because the Governor General of NZ is different than other Kiwis andso that he is untouchable and can not be commented on TV?

Paul has made many horrible comments on many different Kiwis and non-Kiwis, many racist, none of them made him suspended, but this time, why?

I am not a fan of Mr Henry at all but I still dislike this suspension on him because the suspension is made because of an individual’s importance and it is not equal and surely unjustified.

Many Kiwis are very proud of the freedom of speech in New Zealand, I guess this tells a different story about wether there is such a thing in New Zealand as the FREEDOM of SPEECH.

Sad, isn’t it?
